About the Owner
Jamie grew up in Brisbane and spent most of his childhood between Brisbane and Moreton Island. On Moreton, Jamie raced and worked on Honda Trikes, Baja Buggies and Boats. Jamie's father was a fan of fast cars and was always getting his Triumph TR3 to go faster.
At age 17, Jamie started his apprenticeship in Toowong at the BP service station. After becoming a qualified mechanic, he took over the mechanical workshop and managed it for 15 years.
He has a strong passion for cars and hasn't owned a single car that he hasn't worked on or modified himself. These mods include height-adjustable suspension kits, brake upgrades and conversions, stereo system upgrades and semi-racing mods.
When he's not working at the workshop or taking leisurely weekend drives, Jamie likes to spend time on his boat, Fusion. His passion for modifying cars extends into updating and upgrading his boat with the latest technology and gadgets available.
So far, he has installed a full stereo, LED lighting, Lowrance structure scan, and hydraulic steering and built and fitted a new dash. Jamie loves boating and spends a lot of time in Moreton Bay over on the sandhills and at Tangalooma.
